Cancelling your subscription

This article shows organization admins how to cancel a paid Dailybot subscription, when access ends, what happens to org data, and how to subscribe again later.

Before you begin

  • Only Organization Admins can cancel billing for the org.
  • Cancelling billing is not the same as deleting the organization — you can cancel payment and keep read-only or free-tier access depending on product behavior at cancellation time.

Steps

  1. Open Organization -> Billing (or Plan & billing) in the Dailybot web app.
  2. Click Cancel subscription, Manage subscription, or Cancel plan — exact wording depends on your billing provider integration.
  3. Read the effective date: immediate cancellation versus end of current period. Select the option your team needs.
  4. Complete any survey or confirmation checkbox required by the cancellation flow.
  5. Submit cancellation. Save the on-screen confirmation ID or email receipt.
  6. Notify internal stakeholders which date paid features will downgrade or stop.
  7. If you need a partial refund, stop here and read Getting a refund before the period ends so support can tie the request to the correct invoice.
  8. Optional: after access ends, export reports and settings you still need, then decide whether to delete the organization.

What to expect after

Paid access continues until the end of the prepaid period if you chose end-of-term cancellation. Immediate cancellation removes paid entitlements as soon as the billing system processes the event — you may drop to Starter limits or lose access to paid features in line with your plan terms.

Data: Dailybot retains organization data for a period defined in Data retention and applicable law. You can often reactivate within that window by resubscribing with the same org.

Re-subscribe: Open Billing -> Upgrade or Choose plan, pick your tier, and enter payment again. Historical check-ins usually remain if the org was not deleted.
