Updating your billing email address
This article shows where Dailybot sends invoices and receipts, how to change the billing contact email without changing your login, and who receives renewal notices.
Before you begin
- Billing email and login email are separate fields. Changing one does not always change the other — see Changing your account email address for login updates.
- You need Organization Admin access to billing settings.
Steps
- Open Organization -> Billing in the web app.
- Locate Billing details, Invoice settings, or Billing contact.
- Find the field labeled Billing email, Invoice email, or Accounts payable email.
- Enter the address that should receive PDF receipts, renewal reminders, and tax documents (often
ap@orfinance@at your company). - Save. Some flows send a confirmation link to the new billing address — click it within 24 hours so future mail is not dropped.
- If you use Stripe Customer Portal links from Dailybot, open the portal from the same Billing page and update Email under customer details when that option appears.
- Send a test by clicking Email me the latest invoice or downloading an invoice manually from Invoices and forwarding it internally to verify routing.
- Remove former employees from any CC or distribution list outside Dailybot so sensitive receipts are not forwarded in error.
What to expect after
New invoices and dunning notices go to the updated billing email. Your personal Dailybot login and chat notifications stay on your profile email unless you change those separately. Historical emails to the old address are not resent automatically.
