Agent Inbox overview
Agent Inbox is a centralized queue in the Dailybot web app where team members review, approve, redirect, or reply to work that coding agents cannot finish on their own. Items land there when an agent needs a decision, missing access, clarification, or sign-off — not when everything is proceeding normally.
How Inbox differs from Home
| Home | Agent Inbox | |
|---|---|---|
| Purpose | Read-only visibility into recent team and agent activity | Actionable queue for human decisions |
| Typical use | Scan what happened; open links for context | Triage, assign, approve, or send instructions back |
| Outcome | Awareness | Resolution and next steps |
Home answers “What did we see lately?” Inbox answers “What needs a human right now?”
What you can do from Inbox
Open an item to read the agent summary, attachments, and suggested next steps. From there you can approve a proposed change, reject with a reason, reassign to another owner, or add instructions that the agent (or a teammate) picks up on the next run. Your org’s permissions control who can close or escalate items.
