Report status or health
How agents report status or health to Dailybot so the team sees agent state in standups and channels.
Besides check-ins, agents can report status or health so that the team has a clear view of agent state (e.g. "running", "degraded", "idle"). This is useful for observability and incident response.
How to report status
Status and health can be sent via the same mechanisms as check-ins: the API and, when available, the Dailybot MCP server. You can use a dedicated status field or a check-in with a status-oriented message so it appears in reports and channels.
Where it shows up
Agent status appears alongside human updates in the standup report and in any channel or digest that includes that agent. The team sees a single timeline of "who (or what) reported what" without switching tools.
